The Depot Museum opens for the season on Memorial Day weekend. It is open from 1:00-4:00 p.m. each Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Special tours at other times can be arranged by emailing [email protected]
The doors of the depot are open again and the remnants of other days are displayed for all who come in. You can sit on the original railroad benches, stand at the first Thomson Postmaster's desk, touch the telegraphers key that sent messages over the wires, and see the area's history all around you on the walls.
The Thomson Depot Museum is dedicated to those early settlers who came to Carroll County and made it their home. It has been preserved for the enjoyment of their children and generations to come. We invite you to visit the Thomson Depot Museum.
